Samantha: Contributing Author - New Book Launch Offers Women’s Wise Words In An Anthology Of Essays
“WE SEE YOU, WE HEAR YOU”, Volume 1, is an anthology of the powerful voices of women who are living life, moving through joy and pain and bravely sharing their personal truths in these intimate writings.
These moving essays were born from prompts and guided meditations, in five-minute writing sessions, offered within a safe space created by the Story Summit Writer’s School’s Founder, David Kirkpatrick; facilitated through free monthly zoom meetings by Managing Director, Debra Engle and former Co-Director and Author, Amy Ferris.
Over a three-year period, We See You, We Hear You, provided and continues to provide an outlet for women to share their joy, their pain, their heartache, their secrets and hurts and their triumphs. This was especially important during the two years of Covid isolation and continues to be an important outlet where women can share their full range of human emotions and not feel invisible.
Managing Director, Debra Engle, Author of The Only Little Prayer You Need and Let Your Spirit Guide Speak, believes that our words, the heartbeat of who we are—ignite a mighty powerful spark. She says, “Writing can break you open, revealing both the pain and preciousness of life, We See You, We Hear You, brings forth a no agenda environment, that allows women the glorious freedom to write from their hearts and share when they are ready.”

It is our hope that women everywhere will find inspiration, joy and healing through the collection of voices on these pages and find their own courage to let themselves be heard.
Proceeds from the Anthology will go towards scholarships, allowing more women to attend Story Summit class offerings, opening up opportunities for new and emerging women writers.
